Meet the Artisan: Angelica

We are thrilled to introduce you to one of our talented artisans, Angelica, who hails from Guatemala. Angelica is a true artist who creates stunning necklaces, earrings, and keychains out of beads. Her dedication to her craft is truly inspiring, and we are so proud to have her as part of our Lumily family.

Angelica's journey to becoming a skilled beader started at a young age. Her family needed to find work to support themselves, so her parents found work for each family member. Angelica started beading at a young age, and over the years, she has honed her skills to create high-quality pieces. Her passion for beading has allowed her to support her family and pay for her education for a few years.

When we asked Angelica about her biggest dream, she shared that she aspires to own her own house one day. She is working hard towards this dream by creating stunning pieces of jewelry and working with Lumily, a fair trade company that supports artisans in Mexico by providing them with a platform to sell their products. We are so proud to support Angelica and other artisans like her through our fair trade partnership.
