The Maya women of Zinacantán, in southern Mexico's highlands, are known for the huge embroidered flowers that dominate their traditional dress. Here, floral fabric originally used in Zinacantán shawls is paired with Guatemalan leatherwork in a sturdy bag. Reverses to a solid back, made by backstrap weaving, with very subtle sparkle. Inner and outer pockets; metal feet for support. The floral pattern may vary slightly.
